The scariest day of my life was jumping off a high diving
board. I was seven years old when a few
families went to a holiday at Hosanna campground. It was a cloudy day and the pond was as cold
as a refrigerator. Everyone was having
fun jumping off the high diving board and they wanted me to join the fun. My stomach felt scared and my hands felt
cold. I did not want to jump! Finally, dad held my hand and we jumped
together. I had conquered my fear and
felt good.
and also here is another one-
A few months ago before Christmas I had the happiest day of
my life, when I became a Christian. One
day after doing the dishwasher I asked my mom how I could become a
Christian. We sat in my room talking and
then read John 3:16 in the Bible. My
heart felt full of sin but then when I accepted Jesus in my heart I felt empty
and free of all sin. Excitedly mom
called the family and my special Aunt to pray together. Then we shared stories about how my brothers
and sister became Christians. Each of
them was baptized in different countries: Germany, America, and Israel. I am very happy that I will be in Heaven with
my family and with God.
and here is a new one-
Risk
Risk provides the best board game experience ever, and let me tell you why. Risk offers fun, excitement, and challenge, although the rules for some people can be difficult. My favorite games are strategy ones, this game you can learn countries and more about war. Others may find this game uninteresting, but I learn a lot about other parts of the world. Playing long games makes for great entertainment; however, for others they might want to stop and do something else. Having a friend to compete with provides fantastic fun, but sometimes there might not be anybody around to play with you. I have found a way to play by myself and still have a marvelous time. Some girls may not enjoy playing Risk, yet the boys I know like to play and I could play it every day.
I will be posting more soon.

Lucas,
ReplyDeleteYour writing is mature, precise and full of REAL experiences, which make it insightful and precious. I especially like the way you say that your 'stomach felt scared', or your heart 'felt empty and free of all sin'.
This is a treasure trove! I can't wait to read more!
Love,
Meaghan.
Thank you so much! Meagan.
