Mt. Coot-ha

Since our family is on American holidays we went to Mt. Coot-ha.  I wanted to share a picture with you that I took up at Mt. Coot-ha.

Trip to New Zealand

Not long ago my family and I went for a two week trip to New Zealand.   I wanted to share with you a bit of our trip.  What was exciting was that we got a camper-van for the whole trip!  So here are some pictures of our trip!

This is the place were we got the Camper-van.  It was pretty big.
The only problem was that it was quite tight in the middle so some
of us had to lay on our beds to wait  to get to the other side.

This was a picture next to the water.  We were just looking
around the town for some little market stands.  But they were
 all packing up so we found a rock museum not far away from it.
 And after we came out next to the water and I wanted a picture on the track.

After a couple days into our trip we found this little place and there was
 a  garden walk.  We went on both an hour walk and a twenty minute walk. So here are just a
couple pictures of the gardens.

We actually saw a real geyser go off!!  It was cool!

After the Geyser we headed to a red wood forest that was really amazing!
The trees were huge!!  This is a picture of me looking up.

My sister Sarah loved horses so on our trip we went horse back riding.
Mom and Sarah and I went on a horse ride together.  It was really nice up at the top.    Here we were at the very top of this mountain and it was really windy!

My second oldest brother wanted me to take a picture of him so I did on the beach.  It was next to a camp ground that we stopped by with our camper-van.  My sister and I went way far to where the water was and it was fun.  Suddenly we actually saw the tide rising!!  So Sarah and I ran back excited to tell the others!

Here was a Middle Earth sign when we were on our way to a Lord of the Rings tour.  It was the Hobbit premiere and Wellington had signs up of the hobbit all over the town!  When we found our tour we started on our trip to some Lord of the Rings sites!  The tour guide was really funny.  He showed us video clips before we saw the sites.  Here are some pictures of where they filmed some of the scenes.   We were so excited!
