How the Sun Came To Be
This is a creative writing story that I have written. I am hoping this story will stand out to some people!
“OK, but remember to give it back
to me right after,” Mustafa said sitting down on the grassy hill and waiting
for his crab friend to finish so he can have his turn. Mustafa watched the crab out of his big bulgy
eyes. Mustafa saw Tundra bouncing the
ball again and again. Mustafa lay still
on the grass, and started to take his gaze of Tundra. Suddenly Mustafa bolted upright and shook
himself awake. Mustafa scanned the hill
side, but could not see the sneaky crab.
How the Sun
Came To Be
Dear Audience, I am about to tell
you a story that long ago happened called, “How the Sun Came To Be.” This
creative story is not like others. I wanted to portray something ordinary, but
creative at the same time. Like usual, a
lot of authors begin with, “Once Upon A Time.”
So, once upon a time the earth was dark and
cold and had no sun.
On every cold Friday morning, an elephant named Mustafa, sometimes
nicknamed Mustafa the Strong, would hike up the top of his favorite hill.
Mustafa always felt a sense of relief when he reached the top of the tall
mountain. A ball that he always carried around his had an orangey-yellowish
color to it. When Mustafa touched the ball, he felt warmth and comfort
in the cold earth he lived in. Mustafa was an intelligent elephant who was always polite, except when he got angry.
On every cold Friday morning, an elephant named Mustafa, sometimes

Mustafa always felt a sense of relief when he reached the top of the tall
mountain. A ball that he always carried around his had an orangey-yellowish
color to it. When Mustafa touched the ball, he felt warmth and comfort
in the cold earth he lived in. Mustafa was an intelligent elephant who was always polite, except when he got angry.
Mustafa just succeeded climbing the top of the hill and
settled down when he heard something. The mysterious sound went, “click, click,
click, click,” and paused after every four clicks. Mustafa didn't think much of the sound since he was big. Although he
was wrong, Mustafa jumped and made a yelping sound when he saw a crab right on
his knee! The crab always wore a frown,
and a lot of times boasted about how good he was at scaring people. “Oh, it is you Tundra. You frightened
me!” Mustafa was quite annoyed because
Tundra, the small crab, ruined his schedule.
“Hello, my gigantic friend. I am
sorry. I just wanted to give you a fright,” said the crab chuckling. “Why do you bounce your ball every Friday,
and not any other days?”
Mustafa frowned at Tundra and then
simply said, “I don’t know crab.”
“Ummmm,” said the crab now
snatching the ball from his friend, “let me bounce it this time.”
“OK, but remember to give it back
to me right after,” Mustafa said sitting down on the grassy hill and waiting
for his crab friend to finish so he can have his turn. Mustafa watched the crab out of his big bulgy
eyes. Mustafa saw Tundra bouncing the
ball again and again. Mustafa lay still
on the grass, and started to take his gaze of Tundra. Suddenly Mustafa bolted upright and shook
himself awake. Mustafa scanned the hill
side, but could not see the sneaky crab.
Then out of nowhere, a bright light
came into sight. Mustafa got up and ran
with all his might toward the light. After a while, Mustafa was gaining ground
toward the glowing ball. Then he noticed
Tundra and ran even faster. Mustafa was
getting tired, but he was almost at the crab’s head. BAM! The elephant tripped over a rock and
just caught Tundra on his way down.
The crab squirmed, but never left
the strong grip of the elephant. “Why
did you run away with my ball? I thought
we were friends?”
“I-I-I don’t k-know,” the crab
managed to say. Then the crab and the
elephant got into a big fight and were rolling over and over. One was on top of the other and then on the
bottom. It was a nasty fight and they
got a lot of bruises. The fight was
suddenly on the hill top and both were fighting dangerously. The elephant was pouncing his powerful feet,
while the crab was clawing at him. The
crab got scared that he would get majorly bruised or even killed in this
battle.
Suddenly Mustafa and Tundra both
fell right on top of the ball, and it shot up into the air. It flew over the houses, the hill, and then
finally flew way up over the clouds.
Tundra and Mustafa looked at the ball and then each other. Mustafa was worried and amazed because his
favorite ball was caught up in the sky.
Then the ball shot bolts of light everywhere, and that day Mustafa’s
ball made light for the earth. Even
though the giant elephant was sad every day, he was happy he made light to the
world. The animals of the earth called
it, “The Sun.”
So that, my Audience, is my story.

Dog on the Roof
This is a memory that actually happened in my life. I tried to write a funny story about my memory.
Dog on the Roof
The real estate agent turned on the car, as my family hopped
in, to drive to the next house. I saw
the environment slightly changing as we drove on. Large trees covered the place
around us, when we continued to drive out of the city. The trees turned into
green and brown blurs as the wheels turned rapidly on. What is
the house going to look like? Will there be any animals? Looking out the window, I tried to find
answers for my unknown questions. My
family looked at one another, smiling as we zoomed past streets. The family thought about the house as we
turned sharply down into a street.
The driver pulled to
a stop as we entered the houses driveway.
In some places we couldn’t see the sky because so many trees grew around
the small neighborhood. The agent took
us down to the house, and we were welcome by a much exited dog. Looking at the dog the agent explained to us
he was the neighbor’s dog and his name is Jack.
We petted Jack and said hello to him at the front of the house. The assistant then revealed to us, the
outside of the house.
The agent walked us into the pool area and showed us around. We started to get going when we heard a loud,
BARK! We looked up to see Jack on the
roof, wagging his tail and looking at us with excited eyes. He was white and had a bit of brown around
his head. “Jack has been sad the other
family left this house, and now he is much happier that you are here.” The assistant told us as we gazed up at the
funny dog on the roof. I don’t see that every day, I thought,
laughing, then dad walked up the stairs to get Jack, as instructed.
Dad set Jack down on the floor as he came back from the
roof. The agent finished showing us the
house and then went to the car to get ready to leave. We said good bye to Jack as we climbed into
the car. The car started and we looked
out the window, thinking about what had just happened. Jack had been so special the minute we saw
him on the roof, looking down at us.
Later on, Jack and the house surprisingly became ours, and we never
forgot that moment ever again.
Writing Traits
This is my latest paper that I wrote. It was a paper that could help younger people learn about something. I hope that you will learn something from this paper.
Writing Traits
Developing a rich paper, with
excellent writing and adding certain writing traits, makes a good
foundation. Writing traits are like a
cake. Each trait contains information to
help write a story. There are two
analogies: cake and cake decoration. The
cake helps support the story, while cake decorating produces the details of a
story. These writing traits create
incredible guidelines for a paper.
The cake analogy includes content,
organization, and voice. Organization
keeps a story on topic. It develops
basic ideas to help expand papers. Next,
content balances out paragraphs and creates ideas in an interesting style. Voice ensures a person’s tone and manner is
appropriate for the readers. All three
of these writing traits make the cake analogy.
Last, but not least, the cake
decorating analogy serves to improve your writing skills deeply. The trait, word choice, cuts out all of your
repetition and be-verbs. If unfamiliar
with the be-verbs, they are listed here: am, is, are, was, were, be, being, and
been. Sentence fluency produces flowing
sentences. Avoiding contractions and
abbreviations create the convention trait. Presentation has to look nice and
neat. To improve the paragraphs of a
paper, add these things: Heading, title, font, indenting, and spacing. These traits are difficult, but very useful
for the cake decorating process.
These two analogies look like a
cake and the procedure of baking a cake.
Cake and cake decorating are used in the paragraphs of papers. All of these traits are used after either
finishing an essay or a paper. For these
traits it is best to practice doing them one by one. The writing traits can improve
stories and essays magnificently. The
two handy analogies develop poor sentences into amazing sentences that a reader
will enjoy the time to read.

Lhasa Terrier
My latest paper I have written. Comment what you think about it, thanks!
Lhasa
Terrier
“Come
on, Ketu! Get up and round those sheep!” Rongton said, kicking the dog and
speaking in a harsh voice. Ketu got up
sore from his master’s kick, and then limped outside to round the sheep. After finishing the round up, Ketu walked back
into the house and slumped down in a corner to renew his rest. “You are so worthless and can’t get any work
done for me; I’d be glad if someone would buy you.” Rongton said aggressively, banging his hands
on the table. The golden Ketu couldn't
take it any longer so he curled himself up and went to bed.
Rongton looked at Ketu sleeping and
wondered how much money he would get from selling this worthless dog. Rongton suddenly picked himself up and strolled
into his study room, but Ketu saw him leave from his furry eyes. Ketu has lived with Rongton for more than
three years and has never been treated well by him. The golden terrier paced to the door, then
slid through his doggy door into the morning breeze. Then like the wind he ran
as hard as his furry legs could carry him.
He stopped a couple times to catch his breath, but bravely kept on. He ran like he has never run before and
struggled up the snowy mountains next to their house.
Ketu suddenly heard loud sound and
a cry, and knew a disaster happened to a man so he ran about sniffing. He could not see anything until the ground
beneath him moved slightly and a voice moaned out. Ketu started digging with all his might. Then
he saw Rongton and realized he must have heard the sound of something falling
and came running to look for it. Rongton
found his dog Ketu digging and knew he had found a man in an avalanche. Rongton and Ketu both used their strength and
pulled the man out who was gasping for breath.
“My name is Jampa, and do you own
this dog?” the man said who was pulled out of the avalanche.
At that moment Rongton realized
that he was very selfish and was wrong to even think of selling the dog. He saw the connection between Jampa and Ketu
and knew that Ketu would be happier with Jampa.
“Yes, it is my dog and I know that he would be happier to live with
you.” Jampa thanked the man and then ran
home with the big fluffy dog in his hands.
Rongton knew he did wrong by mistreating the dog in the past and was
happy to think he did the right thing.

Sherlock Files Cracking the Code
This is my most recent paper that I have Written. Its about a dialog and I had to be one of the speakers. Hope you enjoy!
The Sherlock Files
Cracking the Code
“Xander, you go,” said Xene.
“What! I can’t fit through that small opening,”
marked Xander sternly.
“I can fit. Let me go,” Lucas piped
in, as he started to climb through the little opening of the barrel they were
investigating. “I’m in!” said Lucas, his voice sounding thrilled.
“What do you see?” said Xander,
poking his head in the barrel.
“There is nothing in here,” said
Lucas. “Oh wait! There is some kind of a
lock popped in the side of the barrel,” said Lucas happily. Xene jumped up and down excitedly.
What
could the code be? Xene wondered. Well what are we trying to find in this
room, and why did that guy lead us here by a letter? Bored, Xene sat down and waited for Lucas and
Xander to figure out the code.
“Is it when the president was born?
Or whe-,” Xander started to say, but was interrupted by Lucas’s voice.
“Is it where Sherlock Holmes was
born?” Lucas looked at Xander hopefully,
because Xander loved Sherlock Holmes and always read his books.
“Try it,” said Xander not sure if
it’s the code. “What do you think,
Xene?”
Xene was sitting down on a nearby
barrel, still thinking of the code, “Or Xander, is it the name of the street he
lived in?” Xene said excited!
“YES, that is it!” Xander pronounced hurriedly. “It’s the street Sherlock Holmes lived
on!” Xander told them Sherlock’s street
and then stared at the lock.
“I got it!” Lucas said as Xander
and Xene both moved in to see. Lucas
climbed in and then turned back. “How
will you guys fit in?”
Xander and Xene looked at each
other and then Xene exclaimed, “We will wait out here, and then tell us what is
in there.”
“It’s a room and there’s nothing in
he-- Wait! I found a book. It says-,”
Lucas paused and turned to his friends.
“It’s Sherlock Holmes unsolved mysteries!” Lucas said while running back to them and
climbing out of the barrel. The kids
were so enthusiastic that they forgot they were in a room. They went home that night looking inside that
book, wondering if they could solve the unsolved mysteries.
“Well done, boys!” Xene said, looking at the boys. They all hugged, but at the same time they
all wondered why a guy led them to that place.

How Lego Started
For writing class I had to write a paper on How Lego Started. Have a read through the paper and tell me what you think of it!
How Lego
Started
The Lego Company began with a skilled carpenter named Ole
Clerk Christiansen. He did not have
enough money so he had to dismiss all of his workers. Ole had to find a job quickly before his family
starved. His wife died not long after he
had to dismiss his last workers. Ole had
an idea to make wooden toys out of his left over wood from the carpentry. It was a great success, and Ole began selling
the toys to the city. His son Godfrey
helped him out after school, and they began to make a shop of wooden toys. One day a man came to Ole’s shop and looked
at the toys.
Before the man left, he placed a big order on the toys to
keep for the holidays. Ole and his son
God Frey were really happy and started to get all the toys ready. Since Ole had a lot of work to do, he rehired
all of his workers, but in the middle of the night Ole received a letter saying
the whole seller filed for bankruptcy.
Ole realized that they did not have enough food for Christmas, so he
decided to sell them in the city himself.
The toys, however, did not sell as he expected, and Ole thought the
company needed a name. Ole thought hard
and came up with the name Lego, but what he did not know was that the word Lego
in Latin means “I put together.” On a
stormy night, though, an electric pole broke off and
However, Ole did not give up, but continued the work of
Lego. So he built a new factory and the
product did well in. Ole went to another
factory and saw a new moulding machine that made plastic bricks. Ole bought the machine and took it home, and they
started making little plastic teddy bears and animals. There was something about the plastic brick
that he could not stop thinking of. So
finally they started to use the moulding machine and made plastic bricks to
build houses and all kinds of things.
They had too many products in stock, and they were not able to sell
them. Luckily, God Frey went out and
sold some of them himself and that brought Lego back in business.
On a ship to England, Godfrey listened to a guy who talking
about the Lego Company. He said there
just was not any system. God Frey
thought about that word “system,” and then he realized that instead of having
products already built, the kids could make things out of the Lego bricks
themselves. God Frey wanted the kids’
imagination to grow. Lego became so
popular after, that they sold it to many countries. Kids loved the way to make their own houses
and move around the toys. Though there was one problem. The plastic bricks kept
falling apart. God Frey wanted to find a
way to connect them.
Godfrey found that putting tubs inside the Lego bricks makes
them connect together. A child’s
imagination could create anything in the world over and over again. Although Godfrey had to go through another
fire, that destroyed most of the wooden toys.
Godfrey rebuilt the factory and decided to not continue the wooden toys,
but focus on the Lego bricks. Godfrey
wanted to somehow sell his toys more easily so he decided to build an
airport. He wanted to build a special
room to hold the Lego Company better, but the idea grew and he decided to build
an Amusement Park. The park was going to be filled with Lego and Godfrey called
it Lego Land. The company had a great
success, and they had six hundred thousand guests the very first year. Even though they went through hard times,
they never gave up presenting this wonderful company called Lego.
Late Afternoon Sunset
After a very hot Summer day and a sudden thunder storm, I went outside with my camera after dinner. There was a beautiful Sunset and I wanted to take pictures of it on my camera!
